1. Discussion – Proposal Tuxedo Road
Decision Required: None.
        
A citizen made a proposal at the last Worksession that the Town of Cheverly enter a Memorandum of Understanding with the County to maintain the litter and dumping along Tuxedo Road and Marlblewood Avenue.  The staff is opposed to this proposal as there is no staff time available.

2. Memorandum of Understanding – Zoning Enforcement
Decision Required: Whether to move forward on MOU.

Staff met with County representatives regarding taking over zoning enforcement within the Town’s corporate limits.  Attached is the MOU with College Park.  There are legal and monetary implications that need to be discussed.

3. Discussion – Commercial Parking & Corner Lots
Decision Required: Whether to address.

A situation has become an issue with a commercial vehicle being parked on a corner lot BACK yard that affects person’s FRONT yards.  The Mayor and Council were asked to address this matter in a way similar to that of fences on corner lots at the last Worksession.  Further consideration and discussion was needed before attempting to amend the code.

4. Discussion Noise Ordinance Procedures
Decision Required: How to amend the current ordinance.
        
The Town Administrator looked at the policy and procedures and found a requirement regarding addressing a noise ordinance complaint that is linked back to the Code and was discussed at the last worksession.  There was agreement that it needs to be changed and Councilmembers were going to bring their recommendations.

5. Discussion – Cheverly Sector Plan
Decision Required: None.

The Mayor has placed this item on the agenda and will address.

6. Discussion – GNS Proposal
Decision Required: Whether to pursue.

The Mayor has added this item to the agenda and will address.


7. FY17 Budget and Capital Improvement Program
Decision Required: None.

The Mayor and Council have been in receipt of the Department of Public Works and the Police Department CIP requests since January and the have prepared memorandums describing the needs of each Department for items that should be considered in the FY17 Capital Improvement Program Budget.  The proposed FY17 Budget was distributed at the March Worksession and should be brought to the meeting for additional discussion.

8. Grant Proposal Peace Camp
Decisioin Required: Whether to authorize.

The Cheverly Womans Club is requesting a Peace Camp Grant.
